Supporting students in making them well informed, about various streams and career choices available, can lead them to manage their career options with a better clarity. It can enable them to move from general understanding of work and paths to specific and realistic ones and helping them to have a happy and successful future. Career guidance can play an important role for the individuals to make educational choices and get occupational, training. Keeping in view, BVM (USN) organised a career awareness session for the students of XI and XII today. The resource person for the session was Mr. Sumit Wason, a learned and experienced personality associated with UPES (University of Petroleum and Energy Studies) Dehradun for more than 12 years. He very skillfully apprised the young minds with the importance of planning and value of enthusiasm and optimism. He acquainted the students with diverse career options in Commerce and Science field and the proper courses needed to pursue those options. The session proved to be very informative & interactive one as the students also participated enthusiastically. Addressing the students, he emphasized on choosing a right career at the right time and guided them to opt the courses according to their potential and interests without squandering their valuable time and money.
Students’ career queries were also quenched at the end of the session. Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi thanked Mr. Sumit Wason for sparing his valuable time from his busy schedule to enlighten the students.
